Information
Background
Wayne Anderson was born and raised in Edmonton, Alberta.
He attended the University of Alberta where he obtained
bachelor degrees in political science and law in 1980
and 1983, respectively.
Experience
Following his graduation from law school in 1983, Mr.
Anderson joined a major law firm in Calgary where his
work was restricted to commercial law. In 1991 he became
a partner in a specialized law firm and widened his
professional focus to include the additional services
required by his business clientele. More than twenty
years after beginning his career, Mr. Anderson's practice
consists of the entire range of legal services required
by his many successful small business clients.
Areas of Practice
Generally, Mr. Anderson's law practice focuses on the
following areas:
- Commercial litigation
- Corporate compliance
- Contractual issues
- Real estate financing and conveyance
Professional/Community Activities
Mr. Anderson has lectured on numerous occasions for
the Calgary Board of Education, Mount Royal College
and other institutions on the subjects of business start-ups,
small business issues and real estate law. Currently,
Mr. Anderson acts on behalf of several non-profit educational
institutions.
